Needs improvement
[edit]The article needs to be improved in the following ways:
- The article needs to be more detailed, so the differences between framing and composition are more clear (currently this seems vague enough that there's a risk someone will slap a {{merge|composition (visual arts)}} on it, but I'm pretty sure the two are distinct)
- The article's scope needs to be made more clear. I believe the same concept applies at least to photography, cinematography, and painting, but someone more knowledgeable should clarify.
I have a question as well... in television, is the title safe area ever part of the consideration of framing choices? --Underpants (talk) 00:15, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
That photo is a really BAD example. The sliver of ocean on the horizon attracts attention away from the fence. Mdw0 (talk) 07:24, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
